As a Scottish landscape artist and yarnaholic who loves to crochet, I find inspiration in the Campsie Fells, known as the "Crooked Fairy Hills" in Gaelic.
Having once lived in Boat of Garten, I love the Highland landscape, which profoundly influences my work. I primarily paint in oils, creating gentle, almost dreamy landscapes with use of colour. My work aims to capture the serene beauty and subtle nuances of the natural world. I enjoy working with soft pastels and mixed media to portray the delicate interplay of light and shadow.
My paintings try to evoke a sense of calm and tranquillity, drawing viewers into peaceful scenes. Each piece reflects a deep connection to the Scottish landscape, transforming familiar vistas. Through my art, I aim to transport viewers to various landscapes, where every stroke of the brush brings forth the magic and beauty of Scotland.
